OH HI.

I've had a rather lovely week. It must be all this nice weather, i don't really know what its doing to me but i feel on top of the world. Mums birthday was lovely, she was WELL happy with everything she got and i think dad surprised her abit with the effort and thought he went to this year, and it was all very cute. Works been quite nice this week, havent been too busy which is good as it's bloody boiling in the stock room and running round for 4 hours isn't a good look at the end. Apparently i'm actually quite good at dressing the windows too, as Rob (regional manager) was down and said they looked perfect which hasn't ever happened so i was pretty happy with that one. Got talking to Arlene (my manager) at the end of my shift and told her everything i want to do with joining the police and getting fit etc. To my surprise she asked if i would be interested in a supervisor position which completely threw me of guard! Wasn't expecting that but i was pretty chuffed also. Not going to get my hopes up however, as anything could happen. That was that anyway, guess i'll see what happens and let you all know! Went into town with my mum the other day as we both had days off. Was abit last minute but really nice shopping and such with her, treated her to lunch too. Aint i a good daughter! Later that night went round Jackies, as she was home from a few days. Was lovely to catch up and chill with her, stalk charlie. Pretty standard. Becca picked us up later and we headed Railway as she had the night off work. Sat outside for ages, drinking and chatting. Was later joined by another face which made my night. (/week) and we all attempted to have a go at the quiz and left when we decided we didn't know any. All went to clumber and ordered chinese and watched abit of t.v. Pretty pretty happy after that day. Was lovely. Today is Friday, and i've just had work today and been gym. Work was dead, and i had a go at supervising which was pretty scary but i quite enjoyed it. Weird telling people what to do, as thats not me at all, and hard keeping an eye on everything going off in the shop, but it was a nice feeling having a bit of responsibility. Finished work, and headed straight to the gym. Did an hour or so there and went and did abit of shopping. The weather today is gorgeous, and i've been smiling all day just because of EVERYTHING. I guess there are certain things i would like to be different at the minute, but to be honest, i'm very content, and you never know whats round the corner. I guess the saying is true 'good things come to those who wait'. I just hope those good things do actually come, because you should know, i will wait. I think the other night pretty much confirmed that.
This weekend should be nice, working tomorrow so should meet all of the new schuh people. Out tomorrow night for a curry with the fam for mothers birthday, and then out with work people for Nilays birthday. Busy busy. Not working Sunday as i think people are coming round here for a bbq if the weathers nice. Lovely, might have to fit some sun bathing in between all this as i'm looking very pasty. Not cool! Maybe i'll just invest in a tan in a bottle, easier and quicker! I'm actually doing quite well with my money, saved some by giving my mum it for some sort of holiday/festival. It's a one little thing that i don't have to worry about knowing i've got some saved if anything does pop up last minute. I'm pretty much out of things to update you on, covered the last week quite well i feel. Hopefully next week will be just as good if the weather stays like this :)
